Sampling:
Use the newest symptomatic leaf material (including developing leaf material)
Cut a sample of the symptomatic leaf tissue (not just the leaf tip), 5-7mm wide and 1-2cm in length. Slice the leaf sample in two lenghthwise, then make 3 cuts diagonally across the slices of the leaf sample. Add the freshly cut sample to the extraction bottle (the more freshly cut the better). Shake vigorously for 20 seconds, then add 2-3 drops of extracted sample to both tests. Allow the sample to run for 3-5 minutes and read the result. 2 lines indicates a positive result, 1 line indicates a negative result.
